Set on The Desert Course at the Arabian Ranches, the 44-acre exclusive development comprises two-storey, single-family detached, four to seven bedroom villas ranging from 3,500 to 6,800 square feet. The project will be completed early 2007.

The Al Mahra community will be enhanced by domes, gypsum decorations, arches, recesses and large terraces, elements which are evident in Arabic-styled homes.

The Al Mahra community is in harmony with the development's golf and equestrian lifestyle of the Arabian Ranches, enriched with shopping arcades, Jess school, convenience shopping, fine-dining restaurants, mosques, community centres and a gymnasium. Al Mahra is part of the Emaar Golfing Communities concept pioneered by Emaar and launched earlier this year.

The company had launched Terra Nova, the Santa Fe-styled adobe homes at the Ranches last week to overwhelming response. Other golfing communities include the Golf Towers and Hattan Homes at the Emirates Golf Club, Emirates Hills at The Montgomerie and the Savannah, also at the Arabian Ranches.
